Schedule Highlights

All activities are held at the Houston Westchase Marriott Hotel

*This schedule may change, but for now, here is a rough outline of the weekend.

Thursday

  • Free beginner swing lesson at 8 pm

  • Free beginner solo jazz class at 8 pm

  • Free evening social dance until midnight, open to the public with a free-to-enter contest

  • Late-night attendee-only dance held in the Rose Garden at 12:30 am

Friday

  • Track placements at 9-12noon

  • Track classes until 4 pm

  • All competition prelims 5-7 pm

  • Evening dance at 9 pm (live music!)

  • Late-night dance starts with popsicles and a free-to-enter contest

  • After-party dancing held in the Rose Garden at 2:30 am

Saturday

  • Community brunch at 9:30 am

  • Classes begin at 11 am

  • First day of beginner classes

  • All Track classes until 3:30 pm

  • Teacher Gathering 3:30-4:30 pm (everyone is welcome)

  • Add on classes 3:30-7 pm

  • Evening dance at 9 pm (live music!)

  • Late-night dance starts with popsicles

  • After-party dancing held in the Rose Garden at 3 am

Sunday

  • Community brunch at 9:30 am

  • Classes begin at 11 am

  • The second day of beginner track classes

  • All Track classes until 1:30 pm

  • BIPOC meetup 1:30-3:30 pm

  • Add-on classes at 2:30 pm

  • Organizer gathering 2:30-3:30 pm

  • LGBTQIA+ meetup 4:30-6 pm

  • Competition finals 6:30-8:30 pm

  • Final awards and thank yous by the staff 8:30-9 pm

  • DJ Relay Dance (swing music) in the Rose Garden at midnight
